Peter has lived in Arlington for 25 years. He is a graduate of George Washington University with a degree in Accounting. Originally from New York City, Peter moved to the Crystal City area of Arlington in 1986. He and his wife Theresa bought their first home in 1991 in the Donaldson Run community.
Professionally, Peter has worked as a tax accountant, specializing in individuals, small businesses, and non-profits for the past 10 years. Previously, he worked as an outside auditor for a variety of clients, in the banking and secondary mortgage market. Additionally, he has provided conflict of interest advisory services, computer system implementation reviews, and business process consulting services in the areas of human resources, loan servicing, and multi-family lending.
Peter and Theresa are the proud parents of 3 year old Alexandra. She is currently enrolled in an Arlington preschool and will enter Arlington Public Schools in 2014.

Peter has served on the Arlington County Planning Commission since 2004, serving as chair in 2009. Peter is an active member of the Long Range Planning Committee (LRPC), Site Plan Review Committee (SPRC), and Zoning Committee (ZoCo). Peter served for three years as chair of the Zoning Committee.
